Acupoint Therapy
Acupoint therapy is a holistic healing practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that has been used for thousands of years. By gently inserting hair thin needles into specific points on the body, this therapy helps restore balance and support the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
Formula Prescription
After a diagnostic assessment, your practitioner may recommend you take an individualized formula. Formulas are typically taken short term and come in capsule or granule form. Granules are mixed in a couple of ounce of warm water and dosage is dependent on your weight, height and desired outcome.
Manual Therapy
Lymphatic drainage massage activates your immune system by stimulating lymph nodes. It has been shown to aide in detoxification, relieve inflammation, reduce bloating and improve skin texture. Cupping is an ancient form of bodywork that relieves stagnation in the “cou-li” which is the space between muscle and skin. Gua-sha uses a flat stone or tool to scrape the skin relieving stagnant energy. Manual therapy can help support and deepen your path to healing.
